*Topguns Left Handed
Shortstop --- SEV Tet 6” 34” Mid 5br 26 bc RE (Small
World Fire in the Hole x Redneck Riviera) F2. Tested Hardy in Texas and
Maryland.
Why left handed shortstop? That is the thing you never want in
baseball! The joke is, I selected 6 seedlings from this cross, and this
was number 7. I jokingly referred to it as the Left Handed Shortstop in
the seedling patch, as it was the odd man out( the sibs are all
FANTASTIC too!). Then it proved to be a vigorous grower. Then it
proved to have a fantastic eye and edge, and increases well. Then
it proved to be a good parent (the pollen looks pale but is good!) and
give great seedlings. Guess the left handed shortstop earned a
spot!
